O CQWW SSB 2016 nos reuniu a todos em Araraquara, na super-estação de PS2T,
propriedade de Atilano, PY5EG.

Embora com alguns problemas decorrentes da transição para uma nova
arquitetura da estação, todos operaram bastante. Dois rádios estiveram
permanentemente na transmissão.

O diferencial foi a presença de dois amigos da Argentina, grandes
operadores LW9EOC and LW1DTZ. Isto sem falar no supervisor-geral, nosso
amigo Ville OH2MM, finlandês mais brasileiro que existe.

A meta fixada de 8.500 contatos foi alcançada e a pontuação foi
satisfatória para as condições adversas de propagação. O melhor de tudo,
como sempre, foi a confraternização e aprender muito com os outros – isto é
sempre ótimo.

Ana (PU2VYT) e eu ainda tivemos oportunidade de conhecer um novo
restaurante e aproveitar da culinária de Sofia. Somos gratos ao casal Oms e
Márcia pela acolhida, e a todos nossos amigos radioamadores, pelo convívio.



The CQWW SSB 2016 put all of us together in Araraquara SP Brasil, at PS2T
super-station, property of Atilano, PY5EG.

Although some problems arising from the transition to a new ‘shack’
architecture, everybody had time to operate a lot. Two radios were
permanently in transmission.

The difference was the presence of two friends from Argentina,  LW9EOC &
LW1DTZ great operators. Not to mention the general-supervisor, our friend
Ville OH2MM/PY2ZEA more Brazilian than Finnish, there.

The target set of 8,500 contacts was achieved and the score was
satisfactory under adverse propagation conditions. Best of all, as always,
was the fellowship and learn a lot from each other - this is always great.

Ana (PU2VYT) and I still had the opportunity to know a new restaurant and
enjoy the Sofia’s culinary. We are grateful to the couple Oms and Marcia
for the welcome, and all our HamRadio friends because those three days of
living together.
