WRTC 2018 Announcement

The World Radiosport Team Championship (WRTC) is regarded as “the Olympics of Ham Radio”. Staged in Germany it is organized by a private group of individual radio amateurs. The event is funded entirely through donations.

Up to 63 competing teams will operate from tents in “Field Day” style. 
We will
assemble a total of 65 stations to allow for contingencies (line noise, site access issues, etc.).

Club/Group Tent Sponsorships

WRTC 2018 makes Tent Sponsorships available to clubs and other groups. A 1000 Euro Tent Sponsorship donation will be acknowledged in our printed/web/video materials, and will place the clubs’s logo prominently at the station location.

The entities that sponsoring the tents of one of the three highest scoring teams will receive a special plaque to commemorate their participation. Clubs may sponsor multiple stations.

Memorial Tent Sponsorships

Non-club groups or individuals may dedicate a Tent Sponsorship in memory of a contester who has become a Silent Key.

Please refer to http://standings.wrtc2018.de for a complete list of teams. We will try to accommodate specific sponsorships on a first-come, first-served basis.
For example, a club in New England may want to sponsor the NA#1 team’s station. Please let us know your first and second choice.

Tent Sponsoring was established by WRTC 2014 and gained significant attention.
