A copy of an email sent by one of the YCCC guys....

80M was a grind. In 2010 I opened this test with a 73 hour on 80M using the
same antenna. Not so this year. Just could not get a run going. The
persistence award goes to the PS2T guys for tenacity on this band. While I
didn't work them and not for the lack of trying, many other were
disappointed as far as I heard. But they kept at it. Sheer will power.

I had occasion today to talk to W1VE. You have 3 QSOs with VY1AAA:

So, yes, you made it on 40M.

	PS2T? From VY1AAA?

	QSO: 21062 CW 2016-02-20 0037 VY1AAA 599 NT PS2T 599 K 0

	QSO: 7001 CW 2016-02-20 0620 VY1AAA 599 NT PS2T 599 K 0

	QSO: 14015 CW 2016-02-20 2352 VY1AAA 599 NT PS2T 599 K 0

		Dear Dennis

		Happy to hear from you.

		Thanks for all QSOs.

This is a good idea and we will check the LOTW.

Of course you are always very welcome here.

Let’s talk about that in the next future

		Oms

Yes, all is well with me and my family. Hope the same is true with you!

PS2T was everywhere. I worked your station 4 times, just missing 20M and 40M. PT5A had a GREAT signal

on 20M, and a big pileup, but I never heard him work any USA stations. He certainly couldn't hear my LP signal,

although I did work CW5W later in the morning.

Unfortunately I can't reply directly to your question, as I didn't participate in the VY1AAA station this past weekend

and I don't have the logs. Gerry W1VE (my dit buddy) was the op there. If PS2T is on LOTW, Gerry usually

will have the VY1AAA log uploaded to LOTW by the end of the week. You could get the info you seek if you go there

and see if there is a matching QSO.

When (if) you get some time, I'd like to discuss coming down to SA again this Nov/Dec. It would be fun to go to

ZP or PY/F if it could be arranged.

We are playing as M/2 on the ARRL CW this time PS2T
I wonder if you can check if we are in the VY1AAA log yesterday on 40 meters
He was at the same frequency of NN3W and we are not sure if they confirmed
