Creio que o Tom K5RC é a primeira grande estação dos EUA a utilizar e padronizar chaveamento HAMPLUS 

Fico orgulhoso em constatar a presença de equipamento de ultima geração tecnológica fabricado por amigos nossos. PP5CMS, PP5MS nas contest stations americanas.

Wrapping up a month-long station redesign/rewire. Replaced the homebrew band decoders and switches with a HamPlus 4 x 8 switch and controllers. Each of five K3's can now operate on any band with positive lockout, first one wins, and no possible hot switching. That feeds the Microham 2 x 4 coax switches controlled by the Green Heron software.

 

We have one Acom 200A making K3-1 completely automatic band switching. We need to replace the other four Emtrons and complete the transition to total automatic operation. 

 



 

The main operating position is SO3R/SO6V with 4 computers, total



 

Station 4 is not completely wired yet, but it will be the mult station in DX contests.



 

The South station is the W7RN remote system (K3, KPA-500, KAT-500) on the right. It will be operational on all bands from 160 through 6 in the next week or so.

There is a K3/0 on the left to use locally.

 



 

HamPlus 4 x 8 Switch and significantly more "wireless" back room. Changed out all cable to ABR LMR-400.

 



 



 

 

Still looking for buyers for the four remaining Emtron amps.

 

Planning some antenna upgrades in the fall. K7NV is working with DF2BO and AA7XT to redesign one of the 80M yagis.
