I have the official duty of informing you of the passing of Johan 'Joop" Bok, P43JB to most of us know as 3JB.
Not until he had his last beer with a few souls that I know Joop held dear, that he was taken up to meet with his Creator. He succumbed to a five-year old fight with his kidneys.
As I sit down to write to you this evening, I am deeply sad!
At the same time I am happy because great things are happening in Aruba these days for ham radio. This same morning I was going back and forth with Mario Ambrosi, I2MQP finalizing the qsl card for the P41HQ special event 2011. This even was a great success! It already achieved its primary goal! Two weeks ago already!
It is then that I received a call from 3L with expected, yet dreadful news that P43JB went SK. And if you know 3JB, you that he does have plenty of keys, humbly said!
I was later in the day officially informed by 9V (P49V) that plans are being made for the last wishes. 
You will be informed accordingly.
We have also decided that the P41HQ Special Event 2011 will be dedicated henceforth to the happy memories of P43JB. He dedicated his last energies fighting to save Ham Radio here in P4. Many were the nights that he and Yvonne opened the doors to their QTH to welcome the board of AARC to meet.
You will be later informed of the specifics.
Please assist me and tur your beams heading the ones left to mourn! Amplify your love and repeat your support! My heart especially goes out to Yvonne and his Kids. May they receive your signals 5-9++
