I worked 9Q6CC at 06:02Z.

 

I stayed hearing him for about 1 hour after my QSO.

WPX SSB 10m working 9Q6CC during dark hours.

 

We heard 9Q6CC during the night and morning LONG PATH. Reasonable and steady
signal, should guess during some 1-2 hours.

Note that his QTH is Goma City. in very eastern Dem. Rep. of the Congo, on
the Rwanda border.

Goma = E 29 degrees and S 1.7 degrees (on the Equator), PW2D = W 29 degrees
(on the Tropic). This makes:

Long Path (LP) 79% 

Short Path (SP) 21% of the earth circumfence

PS2T approx. 06.00 LP

PW2D  06.21 LP

PY2LED 15.19 SP

ZW5B 17.30 SP

This in my opinion is a very interesting and rare phenomena:

 - May have to do with Equinox, that we have now

 - He is on the Equator

 - LP contacts with stations that were north of or on the Tropic of
Capricorn

 - his Sun Rize 05:00 UTC, sun up for more than 1h

 - our Sun Rize 09:00 UTC, 3h before sunrize

Did anyone else work 9Q6CC Long Path (LP)?

Especially interesting to know if someone further south from the Tropic
worked him LP.

PS2T, can I get the exact time you worked him, and how long before that you
heard him.
