Dear Gentlemen

As you know the ARRM, Radio-Amateur Radio Club from Madeira Island, is
very honnored in beeing one of the Amateur Associations in the world
assuring the maintenance and supporting the IARU/NCDXF HF Beacon
project, with the CS3B beacon located in Santo da Serra.
Following this feeling of cooperation and development of Amateur Radio
activicty we would like to inform you that our new VHF Beacons are know
operative and on the air.
Here are the Beacons speccifications:

6m Band
Calsign: CS3BSM
Location: Santo da Serra Locator IM12OR
Coordinates: 32.43N 016.48W Alt. 739m
Frequency: 50.035 Mhz
O/Power: 10Watts CW (A1A)
Antenna: Loop Omnidirectional
Polarization: Horizontal

2m Band
Calsign: CS3BTM
Location: Santo da Serra Locator IM12OR
Coordinates: 32.43N 016.48W Alt. 739m
Frequency: 144.481 Mhz
O/Power: 1 Watt CW (A1A)
Antenna: 3 Elem. Beam Directed to 45? (Europe)
Polarization: Horizontal

This two Beacons are active since yesterday 27 of May 2009.
We expect on the next 2 weeks to have operational the new 4m Beacon with
the following details:

Calsign: CS3BFM
Location: Santo da Serra Locator IM12OR
Coordinates: 32.43N 016.48W Alt: 739m
Frequency: 70.163 Mhz
O/Power: 10Watts CW (A1A)
Antenna: Omnidirectional
Polarization: Horizontal

continnuing supporting the Beacon Project in the future.
