Graças a Deus ele esta se recuperando, e para todos nos é uma alegria em saber notícias do próprio punho do John.

Brother OMS,
 
I'm a blessed man, having survived several potentially fatal events the past few weeks.  
Thankfully God decided it wasn't my time....he has a better plan for me.
 
I'm recovering well from the injuries sustained when I rode 30 feet of tower to the ground.  The surgury to repair my pelvic fractures was a success without complications.  The blood clots that made their way to my right lung are under control and the blood thinners are helping them desolve away.  And the real trauma of 300 lbs of tower crushing me is slowly but surely healing, the swelling is steadily going away, and my phyical mobility and general strength are improving with every passing day.  I will be released from the rehabilitation hospital later this week, spend a few moe weeks in this area recuperating, before going to PA about August 1st.  The doctors think I will enjoy a full recovery by mid to late September.
 
The most humbling part of this experience has been the outpouring of concern and love from my fellow hams and particularly my fellow contesters and life long friends.  You are among the group who have helped me through the tough times, and given me faith to push ahead.
